Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has confirmed her romantic involvement with Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, a Lagos-based celebrity auto dealer.
During a Facebook Live session with Daddy Freeze, Blessing CEO described IVD as a gentle and calm individual, contradicting media reports that portrayed him as violent.
Blessing CEO revealed that she had known IVD for three years and initially served as his therapist before their romantic relationship began. She praised IVD’s sweet nature, saying, “He is one of the sweetest people I have ever known. Let me open up, we have never had that experience of violence because I’m seeing the sweetest part of him.”
Blessing CEO also addressed allegations that IVD was HIV positive, stating, “My booboo is not HIV positive. The very first day we met, he held my hand, and we drove to Evercare Hospital. He took me to four different hospitals for an HIV test. He is not HIV positive.”
She attributed the HIV claim to anger and rumors, saying, “When a woman is upset, we can say anything. The HIV claim was said out of anger. When we are angry, we say things to trigger a man.”
Blessing CEO’s confirmation of her relationship with IVD comes after she was previously involved in a controversy surrounding IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, who died in a fire incident allegedly caused by domestic violence. Blessing CEO had defended IVD, claiming that Bimbo was violent and suicidal, and was later remanded by the Lagos State Federal High Court in 2023.
