A 200 level student of Statistics at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), Aliyu Hassan Fulani drew Prof. Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, the university’s Vice Chancellor and presented the art work to him.
While speaking with PEN PRESS, Aliyu explained that, “I am not an artist, I have only known how to draw since primary school and my dream is to have a chance to study my talent course abroad.”
“I draw him because of my likeness for him and because of his kind heart towards students,” he said.
Aliyu expressed gladness that the VC accepted the drawing and shook hands with him.
Aliyu hails from Ilela local government area of Sokoto state.
