The newly appointed Director General of National Board For Technological Incubation (NBTI), Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji reiterated the Agency commitment to the much discussed Digitalisation Agenda in an interview yesterday in Abuja.
National Board for Technological Incubation (NBTI), a leading organization dedicated to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship in Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to boost the Federal Government’s digitalisation agenda.
Raji emphasized Nigeria’s ongoing efforts to harness the transformative power of emerging technologies, highlighting NBTI’s commitment to fostering technological advancement within the country.
He also noted NBTIs commitment to fostering technological advancement within the country in other to provide more revenue and value-producing opportunities.
He was quoted saying ” Currently we engage in grassroots technology that is like a traditional technology and electromechanical in nature. But from today we are going to advance from electromechanical technology to digital and emerging technology, so that Nigeria will rival western nations and not be left behind” he said.
Raji underscored the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the organization’s objectives.
He urged members of staff to work cohesively to drive technological advancement and foster economic growth across the country.
Dr. Raji also emphasized that ” We see the current challenges in the sector as a responsibility to be at the forefront of enabling tech advancement. At the center of this transformation is human capital development, without which nothing can be achieved.
“So, the importance of collaboration and co-creation between the Government and the technology industry players is a critical determinant of a digital nation,’’ he proudly maintained.

Former DG, NBTI
The outgoing DG, Dr. Uchenna Chukwu while welcoming the new DG into office explained that the agency cuts across the whole nation with grassroots project that have the potential to addressing the challenges of Nigerians.
“ NBTI has a lot of grassroots projects that at the end of the day if utilised, Nigerians will be able to benefit from the dividends of democracy,’’ she said.
