O.Phils “Bless The Lord” Album To Be Launched On January 26

 

On January 7th, 2025, the highly anticipated album of UK based Nigerian gospel artist by stage name (O.Phils) dropped on all streaming platforms globally. And so far, the album titled “Bless The Lord ” has started enjoying massive positive reviews from far and wide.

The album’s official launch will be on Sunday 26th, January, 2025 at the RCCG, Chapel of Glory, Bradford, UK by 10:00am while the Album Listening Party will be live online by 7.00pm @O.Phils on TikTok same day.

The elated gospel act didn’t mince words when asked about the inspiration behind his new work, he said ” This album is dedicated to God almighty as we are all encouraged to bless Him from the core of our being no matter what we are going through or where we are. Indeed, we are all born to worship our creator. Bless the Lord track came in different versions and we decided to release two for now. Bless the Lord (Gbebody) and the dance track Olugbala (Gbera), he averred.

Other tracks from the albums are Aye ya ya(Hallelujah) feat. T’Oni, I Am The Worship feat. Uche Iziogu, I will Worship You , Thank You, Favour Blessing Increase (FBI) feat. T’Oni, Use Me, Follow Me feat. Mr. Larlah and No bi Lotto.

According to O.Phils, ” this project is different in many ways to the glory of God. This is the first body of work that I’m releasing more than 7 tracks on a project. It’s a sign of growth from EPs to an album. Moreso, a lot of spiritual preparation than the former project. We record and re-record different songs to move close to perfection. Listeners should watch out for a matured project and versatile body of work. It is from the church to the streets” he concluded.

As hinted, plans are currently underway to shoot about 5 videos from the album being (1) Bless the Lord (Gbebody), (2) Aye ya ya (Hallelujah), (3.) Favour Blessing Increase (FBI), (4). I will worship you and (5) Olugbala (Gbera).

There is plan to do a live worship session with the audience.

As for the next line of action, he said, shooting videos, UK tour, Africa Tour and World tour by God’s grace.

He spoke to Splash9ja Correspondent about the challenges leading to the album completion, ” Managing the time available. Work, family, life and music balance is still challenging till date. Working regular job, raising young children, a married man with a lot of commitment at home, work,church, business and the ministry. The balance is really challenging but we are forging ahead by God’s grace and proper planning system” , he said.

On his routine rituals before going on stage or mounting the pulpit to minister in songs, he alluded to prayers, warmup n prayers while drinking a lot of water. He also mentioned that rehearsals before these processes are essential.

He took time out to admonish other Gospel artists, ” Whether you are young or old, just wait on the Lord and believe in that gift. With this belief, and hard work you will get there,”, he submitted.

“Bless The Lord’ is a testament to O.Phils’ unwavering faith and his dedication to creating music that uplifts and inspires. This album is not just a collection of songs, but a heartfelt message to the world.

Oluwasina Phillips Alayande with the stage name O.Phils music career started as early as 2010, writing songs for churches in Nigeria and the UK before releasing his debut EP in 2013 Philips Project.

His second EP Show Me Your Mercy (SMYM) was released in 2015 and the 3rd EP titled MORE came out in 2022. O.Phils over the years has been a blessing to the body of Christ through his musical talent and leadership skills.
