Protest Rocks Lagos Over Marginalization Of Muslims In Sanwo-Olu’s Cabinet List

Thousands of Muslims in Lagos State, Nigeria on Wednesday morning staged peaceful protest and besieged the State House of Assembly for a peaceful protest against the lopsidedness of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s nominations for commissiners.

Despite earlier calls for fair representation of Muslims, 20 out of the 39 commissioners nominated have so far been screened by the lawmakers.

As early as 8.30am, the President, Muslim Community of Lagos, Professor TGO, Gbadamosi is being joined by leaders of notable Muslim organisations who have been part of the struggle from inception.
