Nigerian singer Ruger has reached out to fellow artist Wizkid, requesting to inherit his massive fanbase if he decides to retire from music.
Ruger made this plea on his X handle on Saturday. Specifically, he asked Wizkid to consider willing his fanbase to him if his son, Zion, also doesn’t show interest in pursuing music.
Ruger’s tweet read: “@wizkidayo if you ever decide to not do music again, and Zion no wan do music self, pls write my name Ruger as the person to inherit your fanbase in your music will.”
Wizkid, known for having one of Africa’s most devoted fanbases, Wizkid FC, is yet to respond to Ruger’s request.
