The Golden Penny Semovita Soup Festival in Ibadan was a vibrant celebration of Nigerian food culture, tradition, and entertainment that drew thousands of people together.
The festival was a variety of colors, flavors, and experiences that showed Golden Penny Semovita’s trusted brand in Nigerian homes.
There was the Kiddies Corner which was a fun-filled area where children laughed and played, bringing families closer together.
There was also soup tales. This includes sessions that highlighted the rich history and diversity of Nigerian soups.
Another important highlight is the spice corner. It was an aromatic section that tantalized visitors with irresistible scents.
Also, the sampling stations. Visitors enjoyed various soups paired with Golden Penny Semovita, discovering new favorites and reconnecting with classics.
The festival featured live masterclasses, cooking competitions, and raffle draws. Renowned chefs like Chef Derin and Lamii Cooks shared practical cooking tips and recipes, inspiring home cooks and food entrepreneurs. Ms Adeola’s tie and dye session added a creative twist, blending food and culture.
There were music performances. MIA, Kie Kie, and Password kept the energy high, while the D’Flaming Brother band got the crowd dancing.
Mayorkun’s electrifying show ended the festival on a high note.
