Tems and Burna Boy Overtake Seether’s Record on Billboard U.S Hot 100 Chart

Nigerian music artists, Tems and Burna Boy have surpassed South African group Seether’s record, becoming the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard U.S Hot 100 chart.

The duo recently broke their tie with Seether, who held seven entries, when their collaborations with J.Cole on his album ‘The Fall-Off’ earned them new spots on the chart.

‘Bounce Road Blues’ featuring Tems and Future debuted at 34, while Burna Boy’s ‘Only You’ debuted at 78, pushing their joint total to eight entries, which is the highest for any African artist.

Tems is on a roll this year, with three Billboard Hot 100 entries. They include: ‘Raindance’ with Dave, ‘What You Need’, and ‘Bounce Road Blues’.

Burna Boy is the first African artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for six years straight. His previous hits include: “Loved By You” (2021), “Last Last” (2022), “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” and “Talibans II” (2023), “Just Like Me” and “We Pray” (2024), and “WGFT” (2025), and “Only You” (2026).
