The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN) has officially released the nominees for the 5th edition of the Nigerian Electronic Media Content Exhibition and Awards (NEMCEA 2026).
The 2-day event is set to hold on September 2nd & 3rd, 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, with the theme: “The Creator’s Economy: Elevate Your Craft, Secure Your Future.”
As Nigeria’s foremost platform for the discovery, trade, and exchange of TV, Radio and digital media content, NEMCEA 2026 reaffirms its commitment to “Rewarding Excellence in Content Creation” and driving growth in the nation’s creative economy.
In today’s fast-evolving media landscape, EMCOAN says it is critical to spotlight the writers, producers, performers, technicians and broadcasters shaping Nigeria’s stories for local and global audiences.

*1. ARCON Backs Two New Award Categories*
Mr. Alayande Stephen T, NEMCEA 2026 Project Director, announced that the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) will be endowing two special awards.“They are: (i) ARCON Award for Outstanding Customer Service Agency and (ii) ARCON Award for Excellence in Payment Discipline.
At EMCOAN, we value professionalism, service excellence, ethical conduct and financial responsibility. We look forward to celebrating the best media agency in this maiden ARCON category,” he says.
*2. NTA Endows Best Entertainment Show and Best Producer Awards*
According to EMCOAN President, Mr. Adeniji Omirin, “NTA needs no introduction. We commend the strategic repositioning of Pan Nigeria Television under Mallam Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos.
From this 5th edition, NTA will endow: (i) NTA Award for Best Entertainment Show and (ii) NTA Award for Best Producer.”
