Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone 16 series, which features significant AI-powered upgrades.
CEO Tim Cook described the new iPhones as “designed for Apple Intelligence from the ground up,” marking the beginning of a new era.
The iPhone 16 series includes AI-powered communication features, such as adjusting email tone and creating custom emojis.
Apple’s voice assistant, Siri, has also been improved with Apple Intelligence, allowing for more reliable voice command recognition and “on-screen awareness.”
Additionally, the new iPhones feature AI-enhanced visual experiences, accessible via a camera control button. Users can point their camera at objects to learn more about them, such as identifying dog breeds or receiving guidance on math problems.
Apple emphasized the balance of personalization, privacy, and AI in the new iPhones. The company’s proprietary servers enable computationally intensive tasks without compromising user privacy. The new A18 chip processes machine learning models efficiently, making the iPhone 16 a powerful device.
The iPhone 16 series will be available on September 20, starting at $799. With Apple Intelligence, Apple aims to simplify daily tasks while prioritizing user privacy.
