Burna Boy Breaks Silence on Speed Darlington’s Release

By Oyinkansayo Wole-Bodunde.

Nigerian music star, Burna Boy has finally spoken out about the release of Speed Darlington from police custody.

Darlington’s rearrest on November 27 came after he had earlier been detained due to his involvement with Burna Boy.

Darlington had previously mocked Burna Boy over his association with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing multiple charges related to sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

In a response to Darlington’s release, Burna Boy took to his Instagram story on Tuesday, stating, “When they talk nobody cares, but it’s a Nuclear disaster when I react. You all don’t know how lucky you are that I have too much to lose now, Walahi a lot of you wouldn’t be here no more. Anyway make I just go buy another thing relax.”

Burna Boy’s comments suggest that he feels his critics are fortunate that he has a lot at stake, implying that he might have taken more drastic action otherwise.
