Fidelity Bank is working with ImpactHER to help women entrepreneurs learn new skills.
They offered a free online training program that taught women how to use technology to grow their businesses. The program was very successful, with 1,276 women participating.
Fidelity Bank wants to empower women entrepreneurs because they play a crucial role in Nigeria’s economy.
Women-led businesses make up over 40% of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country.
The training program covered topics like email marketing, artificial intelligence, and branding.
ImpactHER’s founder, Efe Ukala, said that women are less likely to use digital technology for business purposes, which is why this training is so important.
By working together, Fidelity Bank and ImpactHER aim to provide high-quality training to women entrepreneurs, helping them to succeed and drive economic growth. The program has already trained over 5,700 women and plans to continue providing free training to many more.
