The Goge Africa Festival is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary on October 26th and 27th at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria.
This year’s central theme, “Symphony of Cultures,” reflects the festival’s mission to unite and celebrate Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage.
In collaboration with National Troupe of Nigeria (NTN), the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy, and the partnership with German Embassy, the festival promises to be a grand celebration of Nigerian culture.
According to Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa, the Minister of the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy, the ministry is partnering with Goge Africa to bring a spectacular event this year. “We are excited to partner with Goge Africa to celebrate 25 years of promoting Nigerian culture. This year’s festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the best of Nigeria’s music, dance, art, and fashion,” she said.
The festival will feature a performance by the Symphony Orchestra. Other highlights include performances by top Nigerian artists, cultural displays, exhibitions, workshops, masterclasses, and panel discussions.
Goge Africa Festival has been a premier cultural event in Nigeria for over two decades, promoting unity, creativity, and cultural exchange. This year’s anniversary celebration is a testament to the festival’s enduring legacy and its commitment to showcasing Nigerian culture to the world.
