Lagos recently played host to a vibrant celebration of flavor, culture, and community at the Golden Penny Semovita Soup Festival Grand Finale.
The event, held at the iconic TBS Cricket Ground on November 30th, was a resounding success, exceeding expectations in every way.
The festival started with a bang, courtesy of The Real Warri Pikin and Password, who brought their infectious energy and humor to the stage. Their undeniable chemistry and hilarious banter had the crowd in stitches from start to finish.
The culinary delights were a major highlight of the event. Attendees were treated to an array of tantalizing soups, courtesy of Golden Penny Semovita. The cooking competition, which saw pairs of attendees showcase their culinary skills, was a thrilling spectacle, with one lucky duo walking away with fantastic prizes.
Masterclasses conducted by some of Nigeria’s finest chefs provided valuable insights into the art of preparing perfect Nigerian soups, master plating techniques, and eco-friendly cooking methods. The audience was captivated by the chefs’ expertise and enthusiasm.
The performances at the festival were nothing short of electrifying. Adekunle Gold brought the house down with his soulful tunes and high-energy hits, leaving the crowd singing and dancing. Segun Johnson’s live-band energy was infectious, getting everyone on their feet and dancing. Snoopy D Vibe and DJ Jamsmyth kept the energy alive, blending traditional beats with modern tunes to create the perfect party atmosphere.
The festival also celebrated Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, with traditional dancers delivering stunning performances that left the audience in awe.
BBN stars Onyeka and Shaun added a touch of glamour to the event, mingling with fans and joining in the fun.
