PDP losing Rivers would affect Nigeria’s future- Wabara

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Senator Adolphus Wabara, led a delegation of BoT members to Rivers State to address the crisis faced by the party’s chapter in the state.

During their visit, they held a meeting with Governor Siminalayi Fubara at the Government House in Port Harcourt where Wabara emphasized the significance of Rivers State to the party’s future.

He expressed his concern about the possible consequences of losing the state. He stated that it would have serious effects on the party’s prospects and by extension, Nigeria’s future.

Wabara talked about the party’s past losses in 2015 and 2023. He stressed the need for the party to learn from its mistakes and adhere to the rule of law.

He commended Governor Fubara for his leadership and resilience in the face of challenges. He assured him that the BoT would work tirelessly to resolve the crisis in accordance with the party’s constitution.

Wabara’s visit and words of caution shows the urgent need for unity within the party.
