Tension erupted on Wednesday morning at the International wing of Murtala Muhammed Airport In Lagos as fire gutted a section of the primary gateway airport.
It was gathered that the inferno originated from a malfunctioning cable on the Tarmac.
According to report, it was alleged that the fire had already damaged a portion of the FAAN administrative office the previous night.
“All passengers and staff were asked to evacuate the building while the Lagos State Fire service was on hand to complement that of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), “Tribune Online quoted a source as saying.
