Nollywood actress Adunni Ade recently shared her admiration for her colleague, Ramsey Nouah, on an episode of Hip TV’s Trending, hosted by ex bbn housemate, KimOprah.
Adunni revealed that Nouah was the inspiration behind her decision to leave her modeling career in America and move to Nigeria. She stated, “He was the one who gave me confirmation to move to Nigeria. I met him before I came to Nigeria and I told him what my goals and aspirations were. And he gave me a very good pep talk and I moved down.”
Ade expressed her excitement about finally working with Nouah after admiring him for years. She recalled, “Imagine from 2011 never getting to work with him. And this is someone you’ve always admired.” She shared a story about how she met Nouah at a film festival, and the next day, she received a call from producer Chris, Nouah’s friend, saying, “‘Adunni, what did you give Ramsey to eat? Ramsey just cast you.’
“I had goosebumps. I was so happy to work with him on set,” Adunni said.
Adunni praised Nouah’s professionalism saying, “He is so different when he is working. I’ve been featured in another project with him. I cannot disclose that right now. I have seen him as Ramsey Nouah the human being, Ramsey Nouah the director, and Ramsey Nouah the co-actor. He is just a phenomenal human being.”
Adunni Ade relocated to Nigeria in 2011 and landed her first Nollywood role in 2013, acting in the Yoruba language film ‘You or I’. She has since appeared in over 250 Nollywood movies in both English and Yoruba languages.
