The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, made some big promises to the people of Ehor during his campaign tour.
He said he would bring back to life the Ehor Juice Factory, which was started by the Lucky Igbinedion administration but has been closed for a long time. This factory would buy and process the products from local farmers, so they don’t go to waste.
Okpebholo also promised to fix the Ehor Technical College, which has been neglected by the current government. He said he would provide teachers and equipment to make it one of the best schools in the country.
Other leaders from the APC, like Charles Idahosa and Senator Adams Oshiomhole, also spoke to the people. They said the current government has not done enough for the area and that Okpebholo would make things better. They asked the people to vote for the APC on September 21.
Oshiomhole pleaded with the people to vote for Okpebholo as he has promised to give them a general hospital during his reign.
During the campaign tour, Okpebholo and his team visited different places, including Eguaeholor and Ugoneki. They saw that the roads were bad and promised to fix them. Okpebholo was surprised that even the road to the current governor’s hometown was not good. He said he would fix it within the first 100 days of being in office.
The APC team promised to bring development to the area, including water, electricity, and roads. They asked the people to trust them and vote for the APC on September 21.
