Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, on April 20, 2027, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Otunba Ogundipe Olukayode Stephen at the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex.
The delegation, led by Kayode Tinubu Esq, outlined the group’s mission, emphasizing its commitment to the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He noted that the focus remains on enlightening the electorate about the President’s achievements and long-term vision.
“Sustaining a vision requires continuity. Our duty is to remind the people of the progress already made and the promise ahead,” Tinubu stated.
He further clarified that the group is not aligned with any individual ambition, stressing unity within the All Progressives Congress.
“We are not here to divide interests but to unite forces for a seamless victory. After the primaries, we stand with every party flagbearer,” he added.
In his response, Hon. Ogundipe commended the group’s initiative and pledged full support.
“Every progressive-minded politician must key into this movement. Nation-building is a collective responsibility,” he said.
He cautioned aspirants against negative campaigns, urging decorum in political engagement.
“Politics is not about noise or name-calling. Sell your vision, not bitterness. At the end, the party must come first,” Ogundipe advised.
The lawmaker also assured residents of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I of ongoing and forthcoming infrastructural projects, promising sustained development.
The visit was followed by an inspection of key road projects within the constituency which was facilitated by the spokes man of Lagos state house of Assembly including Baba Ode, Deji Adeoye, Oluwasanmi, and Alhaji Shokoya roads. Site engineer, Olushola Oketayo, confirmed that drainage works are nearing completion, with delivery expected ahead of schedule.
Speaking after the inspection, Kayode Tinubu Esq expressed satisfaction with the quality of work.
“This is the kind of governance that directly impacts the people. Relief is on the way for residents,” he remarked.
The delegation later paid homage to His royal Highness Oba Shakiru Kuti, the Elewu of Ewu Land, who offered prayers and royal blessings for the group’s leadership and success. Some gift items were donated to the palace on behalf of the state Renewed Hope Ambassadors Tayo Ayinde .
