Bobrisky, a well-known socialite and crossdresser, has publicly begged singer Burna Boy to help secure the release of fellow artist Speed Darlington.
Speed Darlington was taken into custody after making comments that suggests that Burna Boy had an improper relationship with music executive Diddy to win a Grammy Award.
Despite a court order for his release, Speed Darlington remains in detention, sparking mixed reactions from the public. Bobrisky called for the rapper’s freedom, urging Burna Boy to intervene. Bobrisky expressed sympathy for Speed Darlington, stating that 45 days in detention is enough punishment.
On his Instagram Story, Bobrisky wrote, “I just wanna mind my business this year and stay away from anything that connects with Nigerian celebrities. But my soft heart won’t stop me from thinking of many things. Pls Burna Boy, forgive Speed Darlington. Pls, prison is not a nice place. I don’t think he has money for a VIP section cos it’s expensive.”
