The President General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, (NSCIA), and Sultan of Sokoto,/Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has declared Wednesday, the 19th July, 2023 as the 1st day of Muharram, 1445 AH.
The Sultanate Council announced that due to the lack of positive sighting report of crescent in Nigeria.
