Popular singer, Davido demonstrated an act of kindness by surprising Ghanaian TikToker #Ananzooficial with a $5,000 gift.
Davido was impressed by the TikToker’s emotional cover of his song “With You,” featuring Omah Lay, and offered the reward after watching the viral video.
In his comment, Davido wrote, “5K US for OLS, contact #deekay-dmw.”
This act of kindness is just one of many examples of Davido’s generosity. Recently, he gifted his wife Chioma a brand new G-wagon AMG G63 for her 30th birthday, and even gave the car dealer a $10,000 cash gift. Chioma was filled with emotions when she received the surprise gift at her birthday party.
Davido’s kindness is beyond his personal life. In the past, he has made significant donations to orphanages across Nigeria. In 2021, he raised ₦200 million through a social media campaign and added ₦50 million of his own funds, donating a total of ₦250 million to 292 orphanages. In 2023, he donated ₦237 million to 424 orphanages, benefiting over 13,000 children. In November 2024, he pledged ₦300 million to support orphanages and fight drug abuse among youths.
