The Kaduna State Government has started a new housing project in Millennium City to help solve the state’s housing problem.
Governor Uba Sani, who was represented by his deputy, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, said this project is part of the government’s plan to make sure everyone in the state has a place to live.
The government is working with local and international partners, like Qatar Charity, to build more houses. They also want to make housing more affordable for people in the state.
The project, which is being done with Urban Shelter, will have houses, schools, parks, and places for people to relax and pray.
The government is happy to be working with Urban Shelter, which has already built houses in Millennium City and helped the local economy. The company’s managing director, Hajiya Sadiya Aminu, said they are grateful to be working with the state government and have invested a lot of money in the local economy.
They have also helped the community by building roads and using green energy.
The Emir of Zazzau, Ahmad Bamali, was also at the ceremony and praised Urban Shelter for their good work in Kaduna. He said the project will help improve the lives of people in the state and make Kaduna a better place to live.
