MTN Nigeria has partnered with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Nigeria Conservation Foundation (NCF) to launch the Nigeria PachiPanda Challenge.

This initiative aims to inspire young innovators to develop creative solutions to Nigeria’s environmental challenges.

The challenge is open to individuals and teams of young people aged 16-35, who are encouraged to think outside the box and come up with pioneering solutions to environmental issues specific to Nigeria.

The top ten teams will participate in a three-day workshop, where they will refine their ideas and present them to a panel of industry experts.
The winning teams will then represent Nigeria in the Africa PachiPanda contest, competing against other countries.

According to MTN Nigeria’s Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer, Tobe Okigbo, this challenge is an opportunity for young people to make a positive impact on the environment.

The NCF Director-General, Dr Joseph Onoja, added that this partnership aims to boost the voices of young people and turn their innovative ideas into actionable solutions that can make a difference.

The Nigeria PachiPanda Challenge is more than just a competition – it’s a movement that encourages young people to think creatively and take action to ensure a sustainable future for their communities.
