Nollywood star Omoni Oboli has exciting news. Her very first series, Last Year Single, is finally coming to Netflix on September 6, 2024.
Omoni has been in the movie industry for a long time, starting with her first role in 1996. She has won many awards for her acting, including Best Actress at the Los Angeles Movie Awards and the Harlem International Film Festival.
Omoni has made many great movies, like Moms At War and Wives on Strike. Now, she’s bringing us a new romantic drama series called Last Year Single.
It’s about three women in their 30s trying to find the right partners while dealing with money issues. The series has a great cast which includes, Bimbo Ademoye, Toni Tones, Mawuli Gavor, Chy Nwakama, Uzoma Osimkpa, Anthony Monjaro, Chamberlyn Okoro, Abishola Segun Williams, Kachi Nnochiri, Taye Arimoro and Kabiri Fubara.
Making “Last Year Single”wasn’t easy. They started working on it in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused many delays. Thankfully, it’s finally ready and we can watch it on Netflix from September 6.
Omoni is excited and wants everyone to grab their snacks, get cozy, and enjoy the show.
