Veteran Nigerian comedian and entertainment, Owen Osemwengie popularly called Owen Gee is still reliving the back to back success story of his recently finished DOCUMENTARY SERIES about the Nigeria Comedy Industry titled ” NIGERIA LAUGHS”. His documentary got six different nominations from the 2024 edition of Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival which is scheduled for October 3rd-5th, 2024 in Canada.
The categories for the nominations are (1) Best Feature Film Africa (2) Best Comedy (3) Best Film Nollywood (4) Best Documentary Film (5) Best Experimental Film and (6) Best Producer.
The documentary was an expertly put together master piece of the sojourn of the Nigerian comedy Industry as a whole.
Virtually, all the stakeholders in the Comedy Entertainment Space in Nigeria that have been part of the success story of the Industry were involved in this sojourn to put to fore the beautiful efforts of practitioners in Nigeria.

The documentary is an initiative of Owen Gee Entertainment, directed by Sesan Jigan and executively produced by Owen Gee Osemwengie.
