Ivy Zenny, the wife of Paul Okoye from the popular Nigerian music duo P-Square, has spoken out against social media trolls.
On August 18, 2024, she talked on Instagram about the growing trend of online users spreading negativity and trolling celebrities.
Zenny emphasized that her post wasn’t about her personal experiences with trolls. It was a commentary on the broader issue.
She criticized individuals who use trolling as a means of gaining attention or financial support from celebrities. She called the behavior “embarrassing.”
Zenny said that, unlike Nigerian singer Chike who gave a troll one million naira, she won’t be giving money to trolls.
She advised them to save themselves the embarrassment of looking stupid because their actions often come across as stupid.
Her post gained reactions from other Instagram users, with some agreeing with her.
