President Bola Ahmed Tinubu issued a warning to Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, during an Eid-Al-Fitri dinner celebration.
Tinubu threatened to fire Wike if the upcoming FCT elections goes too much in favor of Wike’s party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Tinubu expects Wike to ensure the All Progressives Congress (APC) wins.
Tinubu said, “Give me any opportunity for my party to win elections in FCT. I know where you are coming from, your own party. If this thing goes too much in your own favor, you will lose your Job.”
