Nasty Blaq, a popular skit maker, has come to the defense of singer Davido, lamenting the increasing rate of online disrespect towards the DMW boss.
Blaq expressed his concerns on his X handle, stating, “The disrespect Davido is getting is way too much, sha. Man just wants to help people, and that’s all.”
Blaq’s comments come after content creator Korty EO accused Davido and his team of ordering her not to post an interview video she shot with the singer, despite initially granting permission.
“They [Davido’s team] agreed that I should re-edit this video and now have said I must not post the video for reasons I still don’t understand. I am not scared of anyone, but I am wise enough to stay out of battles I’m not equipped for,” she wrote.
Korty EO expressed frustration, saying, “I’ve filmed many artists who later tell me not to post the video. If you don’t want people to see you for who you are, please don’t come on my show. Stop wasting my time.”
Nasty Blaq’s post suggests that people are taking advantage of Davido’s kindness, leading to excessive disrespect online.
