Akume described the lecture as a “wonderful initiative” and emphasized the crucial role of the media in sharing information about government policies and programs.
He also highlighted the efforts of the current administration to address security concerns, stating that the security architecture has been redesigned and things are gradually improving.
Earlier, the Managing Director of NAN, Malam Ali M. Ali, praised Akume’s achievements and invited him to the lecture. Ali explained that the topic of insecurity was chosen due to the situation in Nigeria and the Sahel region. He also emphasized the need for public discussion on the issue.
