Eniola Badmus, a Nigerian actress and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has stated her loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Despite the country’s economic challenges, Badmus remains steadfast in her support, recently declaring on Instagram, “I am still standing on Daddy Seyi Tinubu’s mandate.”
Her post sparked mixed reactions from followers. Some criticized her for being insensitive to the struggles of Nigerians, while others defended her right to support her chosen candidate.
Olori_Nini commented, “This post sounds very insensitive. Maybe you’re not affected by the current economic hardship, but many people are.” Oliver_Of_Lagos responded saying, “Anywhere belle face. Celebrity isonu. Nothing lasts forever.”
Hypeman Ruby shared a personal struggle, “As the first son of the family and the breadwinner, this mandate has made my struggles worse. I love you, Baddoskie, but shey e fe gbor ebo npa.” Alh_Alubarika defended Badmus, saying, “Everyone has their own choices. If me and you had the same opportunity she has, we would probably do more than her.”
