Those who watched and love Jenifa’s diary, are encouraged to get prepared for its renewal with a new title, “Everybody loves Jenifa,” on December 2024.
Jenifa’s diary is part of Jenifa’s franchise created by Funke Akindele. The franchise revolves around the character Jenifa. The franchise started with “Jenifa” in 2008, followed by “Return of Jenifa” in 2011, “Jenifa’s diary” in 2015, “Aiyetoro Town” in 2019 and “Jenifa on Lockdown” in 2021.
“Everybody loves Jenifa” is the new title for the rebranded “Jenifa’s diary” series. The movie is directed by Tunde Olaoye and produced by Funke Akindele. The new title suggests that the show will continue to follow Jenifa’s life. The show is likely to feature new characters and some new settings like Ghana and other African countries.
Funke Akindele has been publicizing the movie all over social media by dancing and doing a lot of funny contents. She also prepared merchandise for her fans. This includes: T-shirts, cups, umbrella,face cap, and towel. While showing off the merchandise, Funke Akindele said, “We are not playing, we love our fans so much. We can’t wait for you guys to rock them. Everybody loves Jenifa and Jenifa loves everybody.”
While some fans are complaining about her previous uncompleted movies, others are showing excitement for “Everybody loves Jenifa.”
The casts and crew are ready and excited, so are the fans. Stay tuned because December is about to be a blast.
