Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has made a shocking claim that Adura Aloba, the brother of late singer Mohbad, attempted to sell him a video allegedly showing Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, pushing him down the stairs, leading to a fatal neck injury.
Fabiyi alleged that Aloba demanded N3 million in exchange for the video. According to Fabiyi, Aloba sent him a direct message on social media, offering to share the video, which he claimed would reveal the truth about Mohbad’s death. Fabiyi said that Aloba described the video as showing a fight between Mohbad and his wife, which ended with Mohbad falling down the stairs and hitting his head.
Fabiyi said that he asked Aloba for proof of the video’s existence and he was sent a 3 seconds partly censored clip. After previewing the video, Fabiyi said he heard a violent argument in the background. He then sent a petition to the Lagos State Police Criminal Investigation Department, but was later informed that Aloba was being impersonated.
Fabiyi expressed concern that the investigation into Mohbad’s death was not being handled properly, saying that he discovered during his visit to the police that the investigation was not coordinated.
