Nollywood Actor Claims Marrying Less Than Three Wives is a Sin

By Oyinkansayo Wole-Bodunde.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Stephen Alajemba, also known as Uwaezuoke, has made a surprising claim about marriage.

In a recent interview with Ugwumba TV, he expressed his unconventional views on polygamy.

According to Alajemba, marrying only one or two wives is not only unwise but also sinful. He stated, “It’s a sin to marry one or two wives. But if you marry three or four, you will be free from sin.” He believes that having fewer wives puts a man’s life at risk.

Alajemba elaborated on his theory, saying, “If you marry one wife, your life is at risk. The safety of the director is in the hands of the security.” He also claimed that having two wives is equally risky, as they may conspire against their husband. He said, “If you marry two wives, they will conspire to poison you.”

However, Alajemba believes that marrying three or more wives is the key to a man’s safety and freedom from sin. He explained, “But if you marry three or more wives, they will all be on their own, and you will only be providing for them. You will be taking turns with their meals and bedrooms.”
