Afrobeats prince Rema is trending again as the Mavin superstar has just teamed up with French-Congolese heavyweight Tiakola on a brand new single titled “BEST”, released Friday, September 25, 2026.
The track, which is one of 17 tracks on Tiakola’s new second album ‘WpointM’, fuses Rema’s Afro-rave sound with Tiakola’s melodic French rap, and fans on both sides are already calling it a cross-border anthem.
Interest had been building after Tiakola teased the song in the video for “Upa Solide”. For Rema, this adds to his hot 2026 run after singles “TEA” and “Oh No”, and ahead of his headline slot at Afro Nation Portugal 2027 alongside Davido and Fally Ipupa.
Tiakola’s WpointM album also features Jorja Smith, Zaiko Langa and more, blending French rap, Afrobeats and Congolese heritage.
