Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye Appreciates President Tinubu

Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the former Minister of Women Affairs, has expressed her gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the opportunity to serve Nigeria.

In a heartfelt letter, she thanked the President, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Nigerians for their unwavering support during her tenure. Kennedy-Ohanenye acknowledged the honor and privilege of contributing to Nigeria’s development, describing her experience as Minister as extraordinary.

Despite being relieved of her duties alongside four other ministers, Kennedy-Ohanenye remains committed to serving Nigeria and contributing to its progress and prosperity. President Tinubu has since replaced her with Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim, the former Minister of State for Police Affairs.

Kennedy-Ohanenye’s tenure as Minister was marked by her efforts to empower women and enhance food security, aligning with President Tinubu’s agenda.Her dedication to Nigeria’s development is evident in her statement, where she expressed her deep gratitude to Nigerians for their trust and confidence in her.

As a renowned lawyer, entrepreneur, politician, and film producer, Kennedy-Ohanenye has made significant contributions to Nigeria’s growth. Her experience as Minister of Women Affairs has equipped her with valuable insights, which she will likely continue to leverage in her future endeavors.

Kennedy-Ohanenye was among several ministers relieved of their duties on Wednesday, including Prof. Tahir Mamman (Education), Mohammed Gwarzo (State for Housing), Jamila Ibrahim (Youth Development), Lola Ade-John (Tourism), and suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, who was replaced.
