Women Group Supports Tinubu for Second Term

A socio-political organization has praised President Bola Tinubu’s administration for his focus on human capital and infrastructure development.

The group believes that Tinubu deserves a second term to fully implement his vision.

At the inauguration of the FOOG Women Support Group in Warri, Delta State, Chief Mrs. Esther Okotie-Eboh, the Iye of Warri kingdom, highlighted the group’s purpose which is to promote good leadership, governance, and sustainable development.

She said, “FOOG as a support group is for good leadership, good governance and sustainable development, we are saddled with the responsibility to encourage and support these traits anywhere we find them. While the President Bola Tinubu administration is resolute in building resilient, transparent and investment friendly society, it is the duty of FOOG to actualize his continuation in office.”

The group commended President Tinubu for initiatives such as establishing regional development commissions and engaging women in important governance roles. They mentioned notable achievements, including a presidential loan scheme for over 900,000 beneficiaries, a student loan program, and payment of a N70,000 minimum wage.

Chief Mrs. Esther Okotie-Eboh also said, “The government has also attracted over fifty billion FDI ( Foreign direct investment)! commitments , net foreign exchange reserves up front $3.99 billion (2023) to $23.11 billion (2024). Over $8 billion in New oil and gas investments unlocked , four new landmark tax bills , five new regional development commissions , over $800 million realized in processing investments in solid minerals.”

Other speakers, including Mrs. Tina Otumara and Mrs. Caroline Smith Eyewuoma are in support of Tinubu’s reelection. They promised to mobilize communities for his 2027 reelection bid.
