Zacch Adelabu Adedeji, the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), has made it known that he won’t be running for governor of Oyo State in 2027.
Despite being mentioned as a strong contender for the position, Adedeji has decided to focus on his current responsibilities.
Adedeji stated, “I want to use this to respond to a lot of requests, I, Zacch Adedeji will not contest for governorship election in 2027.” He knows that this decision might disappoint some people but emphasized that he’s committed to his current tasks and doesn’t want to be distracted.
