The chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia South Senatorial District have announced their support for the party’s leadership in resolving the crisis in Rivers State.
In a statement signed by the six chairmen, they expressed their trust in the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) and Governors’ Forum to handle the situation. They specifically backed Governor Sim Fubara as the leader of the party in Rivers State, as endorsed by the BoT and Governors’ Forum.
The chairmen also commended Senator Adolphus Wabara, the BoT Chairman, for his leadership and experience in handling party affairs. They expressed confidence in the party’s national leadership to restore peace and discipline in Rivers State and other affected areas.
The chairmen further supported the establishment of Reconciliation and Disciplinary Committees to address the current problems in the party. They urged those responsible for these committees to handle their tasks efficiently and fairly, without bias, to restore order and discipline in the party.
Overall, the chairmen reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s leadership and decisions, aiming to restore discipline and orderliness in the PDP.
