Renowned Afrobeats singer, Ayra Starr, recently expressed concerns about the toll her demanding career has taken on her physical appearance. Despite being only 22 years old, born in 2002, Starr feels prematurely aged.
During an interview with Rode in Nairobi, Kenya, Starr revealed, “I’ve met people born in the 90s who seem younger and more vibrant than me.
It’s making me feel old.” She confessed to feeling exhausted, yearning for rest and relaxation. “I just want to stay home and sleep,” she said.
On the creative front, Starr finds inspiration in her continuous music production. “The more I make music, the clearer my path and purpose become,” she stated.
