Ayra Starr has gotten a record as the first African artist to receive a Latin Diamond certification.
Her global collaboration “Santa” with Rvssian and Rauw Alejandro has been recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for surpassing 35 million streams.
It topped the Spanish chart and reached No. 2 in Colombia, Ecuador, and Central America.
Ayra Starr joins Rema, whose song “Bubalu” is certified Platinum, as one of the few African artists with RIAA Latin certifications.
