Tiwa Savage, a popular Nigerian music star, has shared her opinion on infidelity in romantic relationships.
For her, cheating has never been a reason to break up. The singer revealed that all the men she has been in a relationship with has cheated but she forgives them. She said this on “The Receipt Podcast.”
”I have been cheated on before. I found out and forgave every time,” she said. She also said, “Every man I have ever been with cheated and I’ve never left them because of it. I’ve left for other reasons but not because they cheated.”
Tiwa Savage stated that her ultimate deal breaker is disrespect. She said that it is when the betrayal is known by others that she feels hurts her the most.
“What hurts is the lies about it though. Maybe other people had known and then I kind of felt stupid about it, or they’ve known for a long time or if it’s close to home. The disrespect of it is why I could leave, but the actual act of it? I’ve never left a man cause of it.”
She mentioned some of her reasons for ending relationships which includes drug abuse, emotional neglect, ghosting, financial issues and emotional abuse.
