Afrobeats sensation Davido has unveiled his highly anticipated fifth studio album, ‘5ive’.
Before the album’s release, Davido dropped three singles: ‘Be There Still’, ‘Funds’ featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and ‘Awuke’ featuring YG Marley.
The 17-track album has an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, Shensea, and others. ‘Funds’ showcases Davido’s signature style, paired with Odumodublvck’s gritty verses and Chike’s smooth harmonies.
Other standout tracks include ‘Titanium’, a Chris Brown collaboration that explores themes of emotional resilience, ‘Offa Me’ with Victoria Monet, which expresses desire, and ‘Nuttin Dey’, a confidence-boosting anthem.
‘5ive’ marks Davido’s return to the music scene two years after his ‘Timeless’, which reached number two on Billboard’s World Albums Chart.
