Nigerian music star, Davido has reunited with his 10-year-old daughter, Imade Adeleke, after a custody battle with her mother, Sophia Momodu.
The singer had taken Sophia to court in April 2024, seeking joint custody or unrestricted access to Imade, claiming Sophia had blocked his interactions with their daughter despite fulfilling financial obligations.
Sophia countered with a 102-paragraph affidavit, alleging Davido abandoned his fatherly duties after their romantic relationship ended. The case was referred to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) for a potential out-of-court settlement, as revealed by Sophia’s uncle, Dele Momodu.
On Wednesday, Davido shared a photo with Imade on Instagram, captioning it “Best day of my life.”
