A doyen of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry and Chairman, International Energy Services Ltd, Dr. Diran Fawibe, who is a Class 1966 alumnus of the University of Ibadan (UI), will be the Special Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker at the University of Ibadan Alumni Association (UIAA) delegates meeting holding on Saturday, July 29.
The delegates meeting, with the theme: Alunmi Association in Service Delivery, to be held at Eyilobe Guest House, by 10a.m at No. 6, Makinde Street, Alausa Ikeja, will also be used to host a celebration party in honour of Otunba Steve Olukayode Ogundipe, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and former President UIAA, Lagos.
The delegates meeting will be under the leadership of Worldwide Leader, UIAA, Thomas O. Dabiri, and chairman of the reception is Sir Kayode Otitoju, former chairman, UIAA Lagos State branch and former Commissioner for Information, Ekiti State.
Earlier on Thursday, July 27, alumni of the Premier University will pay a courtesy visit to Ogundipe at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Alausa Ikeja.
Ogundipe, a former council chairman of Agege Local Government Area (LGA), is the current Vice Chairman of Island Club and a member of the Rotary Club of Ewutuntun.
