Every March 21st has been the day set aside to celebrate World Poetry Day globally and different activities come into play in the course of such celebrations.
This year’s World Poetry Day has different line up of activities from We are POETS (People Of Exceptional Talents & Skills) organised In- Person event in Mart Recreation Centre in Ogba, with the theme Peace and Inclusion to Poetry Village Evening Hang out still in Ogba, to PEN Nigeria ( Nigeria Centre of PEN International) Virtual Celebration with the theme Poetry as a Bridge For Peace and Inclusion, to the biggest one at Terra Culture with an Evening With Some Soyinka with the theme Sand Dune and Ocean Bed : The Template of Dispersal amongst so many others.
Some of the Poets rendering presentations and performing today in all these different events are AJ Dagga Tolar, Emiliano Sardinas, Yusuf Balogun, Kafayat Quadri, Chinelo Nwora, Alex Pausides, Tijani Usman, Evelyn Osagie, Wole Alade, Sinecio Verdecia Diaz, Camerata Cortes, Israel Dominguez, Edelmis Anocerto Vegas, Helen Sosu-Ezirim, Mike Pam, KSB, Alayande Stephen T., amongst so many others.
