9mobile has taken a significant step forward in its business transformation journey with the appointment of Ina Alogwu as its new Chief Digital and Innovation Officer (CDIO).
This strategic move shows the company’s commitment to driving digital transformation and fostering a culture of innovation.
Alogwu’s role will involve spearheading the development and execution of 9mobile’s long-term digital strategy, encompassing new technologies, digital platforms, and business models. His expertise in digital commerce, mobile payments, and technology ecosystems makes him an invaluable asset to 9mobile’s leadership team.
With nearly two decades of experience in driving transformative change, Alogwu has a proven track record of identifying emerging trends and using them to develop groundbreaking digital products and strategies. His expertise includes product innovation, data strategy implementation and agile business transformations, delivering significant and sustainable results across diverse industries and regions.
Alogwu joins 9mobile from ARM Holding Company, Nigeria, where he served as Group Director, Digital Transformation. He has also held impactful roles at Interswitch Limited, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and Integrated Business Strategies.

Alogwu’s academic credentials include an Executive Master’s in Digital Transformation and Innovation Leadership from IE Business School, Madrid, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus Institute. He has also completed the Senior Management Program at Lagos Business School and earned a BSc. in Geology & Mining from the University of Jos, Nigeria.
