Azeez Disu, Editor-in-Chief of Brand Times, has been recognized as the Brand Journalist of the Year 2025 at the third Media Consortium Conference and Awards.
This award honors his outstanding work in reporting on brand and marketing issues, showcasing his expertise and dedication to the industry.
The Media Consortium Conference and Awards celebrates exceptional contributions to the marketing, media, and communications industry in Nigeria.
Adetunji Faleye, Co-Convener of the event, praised Azeez Disu’s achievement. He said, “Azeez consistently demonstrates a profound understanding of the brand and marketing ecosystem. His insightful reporting not only informs but also inspires excellence across the industry. This award is a testament to his dedication and significant impact on media and communications in Nigeria.”
Azeez Disu’s work is consistently known for its depth, insight, and dedication to showcasing industry innovation. He has received several notable awards, including: Startup Journalist of the Year at the #StartupSouth Awards, Marketing Journalist of the Year at the Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA), Brand Journalist of the Year at the ADVAN Awards for Marketing Excellence, PR Journalist of the Year at the Lagos State PR Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA).
After receiving the award, Azeez Disu expressed his gratitude. He said, “It is an immense honour to receive this award from such a distinguished organisation.
