Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has sparked online controversy after announcing her daughter Priscilla’s upcoming wedding celebrations.
Priscilla had traditionally married Tanzanian singer Juma Jux on April 18, 2025, in a high-profile event attended by dignitaries and entertainment personalities.
However, Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram post revealed Priscilla has had six weddings so far, with two more planned. According to Iyabo, one will take place in Tanzania on May 28, 2025, and the other in Lagos, Nigeria. Her post reads, “6 done and dusted 🔥. 2 more to go, one in Lagos, one in Tanzania, May 28th we are coming.”
The announcement drew mixed reactions, with some users expressing surprise and skepticism. Uzor Amenike asked, “David own sef no reach this one. Hope it’s not a church wedding? I thought the guy converted her to a Muslim.” Idubor Ivith commented, “Too much of everything is bad 😔”. Blessing Abodi said, “No be this one. Long lasting marriage ijn amen”.
