Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke recently expressed concerns about the medical profession.
During a recent interview with the Echoo Room hosted by reality TV star, Teddy A, Jim Iyke stated that doctors are trained to prioritize ongoing patient care over actual healing. He believes this is due to the lucrative nature of the healthcare industry, which generates trillions of dollars.
He said, “Medical doctors are basically trained all through their career not to heal. It’s big pharma business. If they tell you what to take and they heal you, you’re not a customer anymore and they won’t make money.
He also mentioned that there’s a prevalence of potentially misleading information in the healthcare sector, particularly regarding orthodox medicines. According to him, speaking out about these issues tends to upset medical practitioners.
